We require 6 volunteers to man 3 games stalls for the following event:
Event: Jalan Besar CCC Good Neighbour Day Cum Launch of Project Earth

Attire: Anything, don't need to wear orange YEC tshirt. =)

KWSH Push Cart activity - 14th Nov
Volunteers will be responsible to take care of the elderly thru out, The small push cart activity is from 1.30pm - 3.30pm. Helpers to help wheelchair the elderly and assist the elderly to make purchase at the pushcart stall. You will also help to serve some snacks for the elderly.

Programme:There will be a Public Forum and Free Eye Check (for the 120 to 150 participants) on 24th Oct 2009 during our 99th Anniversary. However, it is going to be first come first serve and participants have to be age 40 or above to be eligible.
Volunteers to help to porter the residents to engage in the mini carnival which is sponsored by PA HQ. Our partners for 99th Anniversary are PA Staff Club & Singapore Vision Care.

NACLI TEAMBUILDING CAMP 12- 13 DEC 09

We will be having a 1.5 day teambuilding camp at NACLI. It will be a stay-in camp, and we need the YEC members to confirm your attendance by next week 22 sept 09. At the same time, I will be organising a spring cleaning for Nov. The date I have yet to confirm. On the day of the luncheon we will ask the elderly who ever need our help to do spring cleaning for them. Then in January 2010, we can have another chinese new year spring cleaning, so in between their house will not be so dirty lah and we wouldn't be so siong also. hehe...

About Us
Based at Jalan Besar CC, the youth group is managed by the Jalan Besar Community Club (CC) Youth Executive Committee or JB YEC – a group of passionate youth volunteers who serve the community through meaningful activities and programmes. The YEC is elected biennially.
Our Objectives:
a) Promote social cohesiveness, national consciousness and patriotism among youths
b) Channel youthful energies to constructive pursuits;
c) Foster leadership qualities and organising abilities among youths; and
d) Promote friendship and understanding among youths at national and international levels.
